AFTER MY MARATHON OF WRITING. TIME TO LOOK AGAIN. WE DO GET WORD BLIND. DON’T SEE THE ERRORS.. WE THINK WE HAVE WRITTEN ALL CORRECTLY…. BUT HAVE WE?
Now a day of not looking at my few of days marathon writing. I look at it afresh. Yes.. the errors jump out at me. Time to amend and alter. I see the words as written. NOT… what I thought I’d written.
I know. That’s not the end. Another day I will see more to be altered.
It is a shock at times. BUT it’s true we do get word blind, if we read our written words with no break. We don’t see those errors that would jump out at a independent reader.
I had a break and cooked a nice meal last night. Steak, New potatoes (Jersey Royal,s now available..yummy the best). Runner Beans, and a Pepper Sauce. Then I had a Dairy Cream and Apple turnover. A treat I needed, thoroughly enjoyed it.
This morning was time for the laundry. Cleaning more thoroughly, not a flick of the duster.
Now back to reading my writing of the past few days. Getting ready to duck from those words that are going to jump out at me .. The ERRORS.
Happy writing to you,
AJ

Hi AJ
I know exactly what you mean!
It seems like you’ve just written some of your best work. You think- this must be good! Then you go back over it the next day and oh…
It needs some serious work!
That’s not to say it isn’t something great in progress but sometimes your fingers can’t keep up with your thoughts and that where your grammar goes wrong!
Happy writing!
